i am going to Germany for a few days, on work stuff.

I removed the rear wiper. i always thought its unnecessary in every vehicle.

It was the easiest job ever. Of course i removed everything (the wiper engine and electric wiring)

I geuss I've lost a pound of weight :) but it looks a lot better without it.

Went to install a set of koni sport (yellow) shocks and also align the front end.

Found a really good place and they were very professional.

I went on my first track day on Saturday. It was the most fun i ever had.
I never knew the little 106 can handle so well and feel so good.

It was a small, 50 seconds track. We went on in threesomes, based on the cars and drivers abilities.
I was driving with another 106 GTI and a 306 XSI.
I even had an instructor with me in some cases. An instructor helps a lot for beginners.
Every heat was 5 laps of the track. After every heat you could really feel you were doing sport!

I cant wait till the next event. I am sure i wont miss any of the future ones.

i bought it like this, so there are no complaints, but the paint is all burned out and peeling.

It looks really bad and i need to do something about it fast. I have some price suggestions that goes between $600 to $850. i guess it depends on the quality of the paint and the quality of the job and painter.

Also, all the plastics are broken and not connected to the car body, which contributes a lot to the "nice" look of the car.. this will be fixed with the paint job.

I will post some photos once all this is done. i bet the car will look sweet!

above 65 MPH i have bad trembling in the wheel.

went to balance the tires. cost me some money. te man said the tires were really unbalanced and showed me the results on the screen.

problem is, the trembling still there. maybe i have a problem with shocks...

after i bought the car, i noticed that there is no lifting jack and no spare tire.

someone said that the original spare is a flat one, to save room and weight.

so now i am looking for a replacement. i bought a jack already, just missing the spare tire.

bought it last month for a nice low price, due to the fact i need to paint it and do some more little fixing.

The engine, transmision and all the "important" stuff are in top condition and the car drives really well.
