it will have to be drilled out they are fitted with what are called snap head bolts to avoid car theft

If you mean the engine “see-saws” when idling, it is almost certainly an electronics problem (i.e. black box) or a (lambda?) sensor which keeps feeding the wrong data to the electronics. The electronics then keep changing the mixture and the timing to try and compensate for the problem and so the revs go up and down.

Any Peugeot garage with a diagnostics computer (i.e. any Peugeot dealer) can test it and tell you.

I had a very similar problem on a Ford and it was one of the lambda sensors.

Not as standard from the factory. Some people add them as an aftermarket job.

You can search at used spare parts. You want the intake or the outake?If you want the outake it is better to go to an exhaust store and make an racing one
